About Koh Tao's Sairee Beach
As the longest stretch of sand on Koh Tao, Sairee Beach lines the island's eastern shore. Sheltered for most of the year, this has evolved to become the best area to stay on Koh Tao. With a wide choice of accommodation Sairee Beach has everything you need close by.
Rooms at Koh Tao Simple Life Resort are two minutes walk from all the amenities of Sairee Beach, but far enough away not to hear all the noise if you happen to be having an early night!. Internet café’s, pharmacies, Gift shops, Mini supermarkets and ATM exchanges, many bars and restaurants, there are many things to do and see within close walking distance.
Another exciting option is that taxi boats are available for hire for round the island trips or crossings to the picturesque Koh Nangyuan island. Just a a short 10 minute ride from Sairee, Nangyuan is three tiny islands joined by a sand bar from which you can snorkel amongst the many tropical fish and corals or just soak up the sun on the one of the most beautiful beaches you will ever visit.

When you're taking a PADI diving course with Simple Life Divers, we include one of our Basic Fan Rooms in the dive course price. If you're looking for something more luxurious you can simply pay to upgrade your room. Similarly, certified divers can get discounted room rates for all our accommodation. After the revelry is over, thousands of people choose to head to Koh Tao to enjoy our fantastic scuba diving.
Since Koh Tao is a much smaller island than Koh Phangan, you can imagine that there's quite a demand for accommodation. Especially on Sairee Beach Koh Tao, which is the most popular part of Koh Tao. As the Sairee Beach resorts fill up, it's increasingly difficult to find somewhere to stay, and remaining accommodation is sometimes charged at inflated rates.
Our advice to anyone planning to come to Koh Tao following the full moon party, is to book your Sairee Beach Koh Tao accommodation in advance. You'll save yourself a lot of hassle! Even if you're not going to the full moon, keep an eye on the Koh Phangan Full Moon Party dates.
