Offers a wide range, from dorm rooms to beachfront villas at the south end of Sairee Beach.

Instructor Steve quizzes dive internship candidate Ben Hutchins about his time here on Koh Tao, training though to PADI Divemaster:
(1) What did you thing of the scuba diving in Koh Tao? Favorite dive site?
My best dive was at Chumpon Pinnacle doing our mapping as part of our Divemaster internship. We could basically see the whole dive site from top of pinnacle to all the way to the sea bed which is 30 meters deep. There were so many different types of fish, Great Barracuda, Giant Groupers and many large shoals of fish.
(2) What have you learnt whilst being here?
I have learnt so many things. The Emergency First Response Course and the Padi Rescue Course are very useful to know, search patterns came in extreme use when I lost my Go Pro camera in the middle of Sairee Reef and 4 of us found it a few hours later using expanding square! Also learning your knots is useful when setting up your hammock on your balcony! 😉
Its obviously made me a more confident diver and more confident with boat briefings and reaching out to help customers if i see they’re having any troubles.
(3) Can you describe your time @ Simple Life?
The main thing I enjoyed is that Simple Life is like one big family. No one is left out and people get involved with everyone and have fun without forgetting the professional aspects of diving. If you have any problems with anything at all or unsure about something, there is always someone there to help.
(4) Future plans in the diving world?
I’m thinking about dong my Instructors course in the near future or perhaps end up out in Australia teaching! I would like to be a Divemaster on a live aboard around the Gold Coast of Australia as well.
(5) Advice for anyone considering taking a dive internship in Thailand?
If your contemplating doing your Divemaster internship in the future, just do it and you will never regret it. You will have so much fun and meet some friends for life just like I have.
(6) Funny stories / memorable moments?
Christmas and New Year Eve on Koh Tao of course! The Christmas Eve Simple Life dinner was great fun and we did secret Santa too. I got involved in a lady boy show dressed as Beyoncé ha-ha. The New Year’s fireworks shows in all the bars were fantastic too.
