Gem from Germany, Jo from Italy and Russell from the land down under have just completed their Padi Advanced course here on Koh Tao with us.
The girls arrived here straight from the full moon party with only fun dives in mind but with a little bit of charm from the best dive instructor in the world the girls decided to do some adventures dives and gain their licence.
The first day’s diving saw the guys head out to Chumphon Pinnacles where we started we the deep dive of the PADI Advanced course, we took it nice and easy to make sure the team where perfectly safe with the deeper environment. The condition where fantastic and the visability was a cool 20 meters, the guys managed to watch the colour red disappear and they had a opportunity to compare their depth gauage while watching the change. Their second dive we took the guys to the HTMS Sattakut and here the team had the challange of navigating the wreck while making notes on any potenial hazards or dangers, again the visability was a great 20 meters making it still some of the dives on Koh tao.
The following morning we made our way to Laem Thian Bay a dive site which is not regularly visited by many dive schools bar ours, so we have the pleasure of having the whole site to ourselves, here is where the advance class did the fish idenitation dive. This is a nice relaxed dive where the guys got to learn the different types of fish life and corals they had the pleasure of seeing with us.
The next dive we had was at Shark Island where we had to learn all about using compasses underwater. The girls had a little bit of difficulty with the these particluar skills but a bit of practsice the girls soon caught the grasp of things, so much so the team the guys completed the natural navigation and finding the perdetermined location first time.
The last dive of the course was a nice Photography dive where the guys took many photos of the beautiful underwater world and keep them for memories for year to come.
Thanks guys and good luck in the future.
