Four new PADI Divemasters have graduated from their dive internship here at Simple Life Divers, and in-keeping with Koh Tao tradition we celebrated last night with a bit of a party.
Jo, Louise, Chris and Mic have been taking professional level training with us over the past couple of months, enjoying Koh Tao’s busy summer season and getting lots of hands on experience.
Marking their achievement we convened at the 2nd floor bar of the Simple Life restaurant on Sairee Beach, for the famous ‘Divemaster Snorkel Test‘.
Proceedings kicked off with a few games to get everyone in the mood, overseen by instructor Jon (in the absence of our normal MC Instructor Luke, who had suffered a cycling-related toe mishap). Then once everyone was warmed up it was time for the main event.
Celebrating their graduation as new PADI Divemasters, the foursome consumed a bucket-concoction through their mask and snorkel.
The evening was a lot of fun with a great atmosphere, and we’d like to congratulate Jo, Louise, Chris and Mic on their achievement.
Here are a few photos from the chaos:
