We’ve currently got a great gang training through to PADI Divemaster and Instructor here on Koh Tao, and have been enjoying a couple of cracking weeks of weather and diving conditions across the Gulf of Thailand. Warm, sunny weather, calm ocean and decent viz, perfect for exploring the dive sites around Koh Tao and training the dive internships gang to become competent dive professionals.
Here are a few photos of the past few days out on the dive boat:

And we’re pleased to announce that six of the group have completed their Divemaster internship, qualifying as new PADI Divemasters.
Following Koh Tao tradition, we convened at the Simple Life bar to celebrate the guy’s achievement with a bit of a party. The night was a lot of fun, with Debbie, Ollie, Katie, James, Sam and Kerrie marking their success by undertaking Koh Tao’s ritualistic Divemaster ‘Snorkel Test’. This involved donning a mask and snorkel and drinking a bucket of special tropical cocktail through the snorkel! Here are a few images of the antics.
