Celebrating Dean (UK), Johan (Sweden), Matt (UK), Will (UK), Aude (France) & Mitchum (SA) passing their PADI Divemaster training AND Katie (UK) qualifying as a new PADI dive instructor, we all met up at the Simple Life Restaurant for a double celebration.
Following on from previous themed evenings, this time the gang decide to opt for cross-dressing costumes.

First off, Simple Life laid on a buffet-dinner for everyone to enjoy, and we got to check out the newly opened 2nd floor of the restaurant (with free pool table, table tennis, wide screen TVs for sports events, karaoke room and even a small stage).

Next PADI Divemaster Curtis (USA) got proceedings underway, with a couple of drinking games and the gang heading out around Sairee Beach collecting a list of random items. No doubt the guys stopped the traffic and turned some heads 😉
Meanwhile a ‘killer-pool’ competition took place, eventually won by Liam (UK) who recently began his Thailand dive internship through to PADI Instructor and beyond.

Then finally it was time for the main event. Taking to the stage the new PADI Divemasters and Instructor prepared for the famous Koh Tao snorkel test. This involves the gang marking their achievement of qualifying as PADI diving professionals by putting on a mask and snorkel, through which they drink a bucket of cocktail. Enjoy the photos!
