Whale Sharks & Incredible Visibility Diving Koh Tao’s dive sites

Every diver loves to dive in crystal clear waters.  The past month students here at Simple Life Divers, plus all our PADI instructors, Divemasters and certified divers onboard the Simple Life dive boat have been enjoying the fantastic conditions.  30 to 40 metre visibility has been common place on our dive excursions for the last few weeks.

The combination of our experienced staff and one of the fastest hard dive boats on the island, enable us to take advantage of every opportunity as it presents itself.  Just in the past week, 3 times a whale shark has been spotted at Chumphon Pinnacle.  We’ve dived with turtles pretty much every day.  And at further dive sites such as Laem Thien Bay we’ve seen a vast array of marine life such as blue and orange spined unicornfish and hump-head parrotfish.

In the next few days we plan to travel out to the South West Pinnacles.  This has been one of the best times for diving Koh Tao this year, fingers crossed the conditions continue onward throughout the next month.
