“Well another satisfied customer” was the quote to have come out of the mouth of newly qualified PADI Advanced Open Water diver Magnus and his wife Ida after spending the best part of a week diving with Simple Life Divers. The guys chose to come to Thailand for their honeymoon, and after leaving the cold shores of Norway have not looked back since!

Magnus and Ida started out with the PADI Open Water course and after a bit of discussion the pair of them decided to continue with the two day Koh Tao PADI advanced diving course.
(Magnus was all set to carry on with his dive education immediately, but his wife Ida had other plans! They made a compromise and had 1 day out of the water to recharge their batteries and then hit the Koh Tao dive sites a second time for the advanced course).
During the initial open water course we made our four open water dives at Twins, Hin Pee Wee, White Rock and the Japanese Gardens drop-off dive near Hin Daeng which cemented their choice to carry on diving.
After their day off we then headed out to the Chumphon Pinnacle for our 30 meter deep dive, where the visibility was an excellent 25+ metres. The newlyweds then chose to undertake the underwater naturalist dive, peak performance buoyancy dive to fine tune their breathing and control, fish identification dive and underwater navigation dive to top it all off.
They have assured me that they will undertake some diving in Norway when they do eventually get back to the cold again, be it that the water temperature will not be 31 degrees Celsius. But hey-ho they will still walk away from this paradise isle as newlyweds and newly certified Padi divers.
Congratulations to you both & see you next year!
