The nice people at PADI HQ designed some striking display stickers to brighten up Simple Life Divers. We’ve now got giant 8 foot tall stickers covering the outside of our Sairee Beach dive shop and one of our classrooms.
Completing the face-lift, we’ve given the dive shop a lick of paint and had sign maker Aussie Rob create a new Simple Life Divers sign for the wall behind the desk. PADI Divemaster Tim has been busy outside tidying up ‘garden’, meanwhile instructor Jon has had his angle grinder out, installing cosmetic scuba cylinders to line the entrance to Simple Life. Even longtail boy Tay got involved with a bit of painting – must be the end of the football season!
Over the next couple of weeks we’ll be adding more scuba diving equipment for sale in the shop, extending our retail area to include masks, snorkels, dry bags etc.
Sticking the giant stickers up without suffering any bubbles or creases is no easy task. We managed to recruit someone with previous experience – the eldest son of Mr Sin (owner of Jitsin & Ice Shop etc) helped us put the stickers up, and he did a fantastic job. Luke jokes that we’ll now be inviting other members of Koh Tao’s high society to undertake random odd jobs around the Simple Life Dive Resort!
