Congratulations to Louise on completing her deep and wreck specialty here at simple life divers. After completed her Dive Master internship Louise decided to further here dive credentials by enrolling on the PADI Deep Diver and PADI wreck diver specialty course. Conducted over 3 day of training the highlight of the course was yesterday. The final day of training involved a deep dive down to 39.5 meters at Chumphon pinnacles followed by at wreck penetration dive on the HTMS Sattakut. Conditions are good and hopefully if the visibility keeps improving I’ll be able to get a few shots from inside the wreck to post online.
During the course George, fellow dive master trainee, assisted. Along with familiarizing himself with his Technical dive gear. This also had a added benefit as Louise’s Air Consumption was particularly low, less than 9 liters per minute (average been around 20), most of the dives Louise was able to match us bar for bar despite myself and George using twins sets and having twice as much gas.
Pictured is Louise practicing Line work on wreck training dive #3, which is basically a dry run before the next dive, which is a real life penetration dive. Hope you have enjoyed you time here at simple life and will be back soon 🙂
