Hagay (from Israel) completed his PADI Open Water certification this morning here at Simple Life Divers. He was only on the island for 3 days so we condensed the Koh Tao PADI training into the time he had available, and got to enjoy some great diving along the way.
The weather has been beautiful and we’ve been treated to fantastic visibility during our dives.
As part of the PADI Koh Tao course we got to dive Twins, White Rock, Mango Bay and Red Rock [aka the Nangyuan Pinnacle] for our four open water dives. My favorite marine-life highlights included two impressive scribbled file-fish at Twins, a large porcupine puffer-fish at Mango Bay and getting to see a banded sea-snake during the dive at Red Rock. [And let’s not forget the usual array of banner-fish, titan trigger-fish, angel-fish, wrasses, barracuda……..]
We wish Hagay a safe trip and hope he continues to enjoy the rest of his travels in Asia – and hopefully we’ll see him back on Koh Tao sometime soon for the PADI Advanced!
