Brits William, Sam, Alex, Mike and Emma have spent 5 days diving with us here at Simple Life, completing their PADI Open Water course and some exciting adventure dives.
Starting out with some scuba diving theory and a shallow water skills session we got to make open water dives at Green Rock and the Nangyuan Pinnacle [aka Red Rock], plus got to head round the other side of the island.
Conditions were a bit choppy during one of our dives, but the guys kept their composure well and followed their training perfectly, shaping up as very competent open water divers.
We followed up the PADI open water course with two adventure dives (which contribute towards the Advanced Open Water dive course). For the first we made a deep dive right down to 30M at the Chumphon Pinnacles way north of Koh Tao, then enjoyed a wreck dive exploring the former Thai and US Naval vessel HTMS Sattakut.
Visibility at the giant granite Chumphon pinnacle was spectacular and the wreck dive was as good as I’ve ever seen it. A cracking couple of dives.
