What is a PADI Divemaster?

PADI Divemaster is the first professional qualification in PADI’s Diver education system. PADI Divemasters are qualified to coordinate complex diving logistics, guide certified divers on underwater tours and assist in the training of new divers. A PADI Divemaster is an expert level diver and role model.

Beginner to PADI Divemaster - Thailand Internship | 2 Months

Comprehensive package which includes all PADI dive courses, your own set of scuba gear, accommodation on Koh Tao and all materials and certification fees.

 

Beginner to PADI Divemaster + Specialty Courses | 10 Weeks

As above plus extending your Divemaster Thailand experience to include 5 specialty courses – deep, nitrox, equipment maintenance, underwater navigation and fish identification

 

PADI Divemaster Course Only

Standalone Thailand Divemaster course, for divers who are already hold the PADI Rescue Diver certification, have an up to date CPR-First aid qualification and have at least 20 logged dives.

 

PADI Divemaster Thailand | What’s involved in the training?

As you can imagine, PADI Divemaster training gives you all the skills and experience you need to perform the above.

Irrespective of which of our Divemaster Thailand packages you choose, you'll go through training in sequence, building up diving skills and experience and enjoying Koh Tao's dive sites and incredible marine life. As you progress you'll assume real responsibility, becoming part of the Simple Life dive crew. You'll be coordinating boat logistics, delivering briefings to divers, assisting student diver training, and guiding certified divers on underwater tours. Expect to log many dives, meeting and working together with people from all over the world.

Simple Life Divers is the perfect place to spend time and take your professional level training. We're a medium sized dive shop - that means that there's a nice social atmosphere with lots going on, yet all our experienced Western instructors teach all dive courses in small groups to make sure everyone receives quality training, qualifies as a safe, competent diver and has a great time along the way. There's a really nice mix around the shop of full time staff (DMs and instructors), long term interns, day to day customers taking entry level courses and the Thai support staff (captain, boat boys etc). Simple Life is vibrant and exciting and so taking Divemaster training here on Koh Tao you’re ideally placed to enjoy an awesome experience.
