2010 & 2011 Full Moon Party Dates & Advice
The world famous Koh Phangan Full Moon Party is a big event for this part of Southern Thailand, drawing many thousands of tourists.
Buckets of alcohol, fluorescent body paint, music and partying all night on the beach, the scale of Full Moon Party is something everyone should experience at least once.
And when its all over and the hangovers have worn off, many people choose to take a short ride on the Koh Phangan to Koh Tao ferry to check out our fantastic scuba diving.
The bad news is, Koh Tao is much smaller than Koh Phangan, so accommodation is in high demand. This is especially true for Sairee Beach Koh Tao [home of Simple Life diving resort], which is the most popular area for accommodation.
Our advice is to make arrangements before you travel to Koh Tao. This will help you avoid a lot of hassle, and may save you a lot of money.
Whether you're planning on diving or not, Simple Life Diving Koh Tao can help sort out your accommodation - just drop us an email.
Successful Living @ the Phangan Full Moon Party?
Use a bit of common sense.
Would be wise to leave important things [passport, credit cards, travelers cheques or large amounts of cash] somewhere safe, like in a safe. Only take out items that you can afford to loose.
Probably also best to stay away from motorbikes, especially if you're planning on drinking too much!!
There will be a lot of people. Sort out a meeting point in case of getting separated.
Even if you're not planning on going to the party, it's best to keep an eye on the Koh Phangan Full Moon Party dates. With so many thousands of people moving between the Gulf of Thailand islands at these times, it gets really busy for Koh Tao ferry tickets and accommodation.
