Our Koh Tao PADI Rescue diver course and EFR training will teach you to assist other divers, deal with diving problems both at the surface and underwater and develop behavior to prevent problems from occurring.

We begin with the Emergency First Response [EFR] course. The PADI EFR course is a CPR and first aid qualification (valid for 2 years). Conducted over a full day, you will learn to assess emergency situations, Check for breathing, Circulation, Spinal injuries and serious bleeding and take appropriate action.

After the practical session, you'll take a short exam to verify your understanding.

Academic sessions and the video during the first day, with the water work being introduced the following day. The PADI Rescue Diver course will cover topics like assisting tired and panicked divers, dealing with unconscious divers in the water, self rescue techniques and diver stress, diving first aid, emergency management, missing diver procedures and various exit techniques.

After mastering these skills and techniques under the supervisions of your instructor, we will conduct a final scenario and assessment where you take responsibility for the dive boat, dealing with simulated problems. Lots of fun, in a serious way!

Your EFR and Rescue Diver Koh Tao dive course includes 4 nights accommodation on Koh Tao*.

For our standard package [13,000 baht] the included accommodation is a fan room with double bed and en-suite bathroom, near the dive shop.

Everything you need is within very close walking distance [bars, shops, restaurants, beach, internet etc.].

If you do prefer something more upmarket [i.e. air conditioned, hot shower, tv and fridge etc], we have a range of options available at our resort.
