Booking your Koh Tao PADI Scuba Internship

First, drop us an email and let us know which scuba internship you're interested in.

We'll answer any questions which you have about our gap year diving programs, and together we'll decide on a suitable start date for your dive internship. We'll also be able to let you know who else is likely to be starting the same program around that that time.

Next you should read through the PADI medical questionnaire, making sure you have no medical conditions which might prevent you from scuba diving in Koh Tao.

Dive Internship Booking Deposit

Next we'll ask you for a small deposit to book your place on the scuba diving internship, details of which will be sent to you by email. This allows us to reserve your accommodation on Koh Tao, and get everything ready for your arrival. The deposit should be paid at least two months prior to your planned internship start date.

Once that's done, you can go ahead and book your flight ticket to Bangkok, and sort out a suitable travel visa to enter Thailand, (which we can help with if required).

The remaining balance of your scuba diving internship can be settled once you arrive on Koh Tao.

Scuba Internships Cancellation Policy or Early Departure

If you've paid a deposit to Simple Life Divers and for some reason your plans change we'll offer you two options.

Either you can transfer the deposit to start your scuba internship at a later date, or use it as credit towards other diving activities or accommodation at Simple Life Resort. Or we can give you a refund. Provided you give us at least 1 months notice prior to your planned start date, we'll be able to give you a full refund, less a small transaction fee. If it's closer to the planned start date, we'll deduct any incurred fees from your deposit and refund the remainder to you.

Once on Koh Tao, if for some reason you have to leave early and cannot complete the scuba internship, we'll calculate your balance based on the percentage of the diving internship that you've completed. That means you can receive a partial refund for the bits of the course which you've not done.
